Monitor and control system

JSC “Brotep EKO” offers monitor and control system for protection of fan electromotor and automation of operation of fan cooling towers.

The control system consists of:

  • control cabinet;
  • monitoring device for control and protection of operation of motor – fan system
  • measuring instrument – regulator of cooled water temperature;
  • sensor of cooled water temperature, vibration sensors, which are built in the electromotor, sensors of bearings and stator windings temperature.

System of control and protection provides:

  • manual and automotive actuation /shutdown and switch of operating rotation rate of the fan electromotor depending on the temperature of the cooled water and ambient air;
  • drying of the stator windings of the electromotor after a long stop before start;
  • safety shutdown in case of a short circuit, overload, breakage and unbalance of phase, undervoltage, etc. with data output on the display;
  • blocking of vibration during acceleration of the electromotor;
  • soft start and switching of speeds;
  • blocking of the number of starts per hour;
  • the possibility to control the fan electromotor from operations control station with the generation of discrete signals on the operation modes of the fan.

Monitoring device for control and protection of operation of motor – fan system is:

  • continuous monitoring of operating parameters of the motor and fan with the generation of the necessary settings to the remote operations control station and the automatic process control system of the enterprise;
  • light and sound alarm on their deviation;
  • shutdown of the motor in case of surpassing of the permitted parameters: temperature of the upper and lower bearings, the temperature of the motor winding, the level of vibration.

The electromotor is automatically actuated at the stabilization of the abovementioned parameters run the motor.
